3 in 1 Desk Misting Fan - USB C

Your gaming PC dumps heat like a space heater, and if you can't run proper aircon in that room, the desk turns into a sauna by 8pm. This sits next to your monitor, pushes air at you, and adds a fine mist so the side of your face and forearms actually feel cool while you're playing or working. There's a soft colour-shifting light on top for the late-night sessions.
- Cools you, not the room, its targeted airflow and mist where you actually sit
- 3 fan speeds and 3 mist intensities, so you can dial it in for the day
- 7-colour LED night light cycles through the palette, no software or sync
- 600ml tank, 1/2/3 hour timer, runs off any USB port or power bank
- Only 15cm wide and 7cm deep, it sits between your monitor stand and speaker without stealing desk real estate, and at 23cm tall it doesn't block the screen
How It Works
Fill the 600ml tank with filtered water (chuck in an ice cube or two if you want it colder), pick a fan speed and a mist level, and the fan pushes air through a fine mist of atomised water. As that water evaporates on your skin, it pulls heat off you, same principle as sweating, just done for you. Five nozzles spread the mist so you're not getting a wet patch in one spot.
Straight up on the physics: evaporative cooling works best in dry heat. If you're in Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth or anywhere inland during a dry summer stretch, you'll feel it properly.
FAQ
Does it cool the whole room?
No. It cools you, the person sitting in front of it. It's not an air conditioner, it can drop the room temperature, but not by a significant amount. Think of it as a targeted breeze with a mist on top, not a replacement for aircon.
How long does the mist last on one tank?
Depends on the spray setting, a full 600ml tank runs for hours on the lowest, a little less on high. The fan keeps running either way once the tank's dry.
What water should I put in it?
Filtered or bottled. Tap water works but the minerals will clog the five nozzles over time and you'll end up poking them out with a pin. Filtered water keeps the mist consistent and saves you the maintenance.
Is it noisy?
On low it's quiet enough to sit next to while you're on a call. On high it's noticeable, around conversation level, roughly 45–50dB, which not disruptive. It's not whisper-silent, don't expect that.
Does it need batteries?
No, and worth being clear here: it's not cordless. It runs on USB power at 5V/10W from your PC, a wall adapter or a power bank, and it stays plugged in the whole time it's running. "Portable" here means light and compact, not battery-powered.
